The Many Voices of Messages On Hold!

Professional, confident voice-over is a crucial part of any audio production – whether you’re working on producing audio ads, eLearning guides, podcast content, you name it. But when it comes to finding the right voice to suit your brand or project, typing something like “Australian Male Voice Over” into Google can produce an overwhelming number of results, making the process much more time consuming and daunting.

Messages On Hold has been providing high quality voice over productions for over 30 years, working on audio projects of all shapes and sizes: from large education programs & industry-specific presentations; to international ad campaigns and local radio ads – and we’re only getting better.

We’ve recently added even more voices to our library to make your search for the right voice even easier, including male and female Indigenous voice talent.

Firstly, there’s Angelica who’s completing her Bachelor of Arts in Acting at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and boasts a Certificate IV in Aboriginal Performance. You can find Angelica’s bright & confident voice sample right here – just change the Country tab on our voice talent page to “Australia Indigenous” to hear Angelica and all our other fantastic Indigenous voice talent.

Katie is an actor and a writer with an extensive list of experience and awards under her belt and is currently working on a number of exciting writing projects alongside providing outstanding voice overs for us! Her various screen credits include Redfern Now, Black Comedy, The Slot, and many, many more.

We also have a new male indigenous voice talent, Tyren, who has a Certificate IV in Aboriginal Theatre, and has been dipping his toes in a number of creative pools over the last couple of years: from working with the Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company and The Blue Room Theatre in Perth, to making his own music, performing at Fringe, and beginning his studies at WAAPA.

Messages On Hold also has a range of global accents in our voice over library, so if you’re working on a project requiring American, British, Canadian, Scottish, Mandarin, Tamil or even neutral accents, you’ll be impressed by our selection of talent, plus, you won’t have to scour the internet dealing with multiple agencies to find the right voice.

All you need to do is head to our voice talent library and change the Language, Country, and Gender tabs to suit your search, and see what you can find!
